At Little Explorers we spend our days learning and making discoveries through play, art, music, science, nature and much more. Our ability to engage children using positive reinforcement and encouragement provides the opportunity to learn and make new connections. Every day we provide a different enrichment for our students to explore. Our staff at Little Explorers seeks to honor each child as an individual and celebrate their creative and unique learning styles. It is our mission at Little Explorers to give children the tools to become independent, empowered and caring individuals, while fostering a love of learning.

Ready for School (RFS)
Every day our Little Explorers will be introduced to concepts and skills that will assist them in getting Ready for School. Lessons include letter, number and shape recognition. Children will be introduced to reading and story comprehension. Lessons will include identifying concepts such as long and short, same or different, big and small etc. Skills such as the use of scissors and writing instruments, glue sticks, paint brush etc. will also be used during this time. All of these lessons offer exposure to our younger friends and experience to our older students.
We keep our active bodies strong and fit with daily stretches and exercise. During this time we also work on balance and coordination while learning skills like catching, throwing, kicking, and playing games that incorporate our gross motor functions .
Each day we have an art project that incorporates either the Monthly Theme, Famous Achiever, Weekly Exploration or a Daily Discovery.
We provide a mid morning organic snack to our students. Snacks are always vegetarian and nut free, with a vegan and gluten free option available.
Rotating Enrichment includes: Drama, Music, Art, Science, Cooking/Food, Yoga, Dance, Movement, Life Skills, Spanish and Sign Language
Students should bring their lunch and we ask that they be free of nut products.
Peacetime is a way that we wind down and reflect on our day. During this time we share stories, songs and say our goodbyes.
Our Program includes a monthly theme with Weekly Exploration and Daily Discoveries.
For example: October: Space; Week 1: Planets; Monday: Mission to Mars.
Every month we honor a Famous Achiever that we incorporate into our monthly theme. Famous achievers of the past have included: Martin Luther King, Michelangelo, Claude Monet, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and others.
Our Explorers are always learning how to be stewards to their communities by hosting food and clothes drives and being active participants in the act of reducing, reusing and recycling.
Our tuition schedule and application can be found on our admissions page.
